am Father Phil.
I am friend of folk and freedom.
I speak through all art.
Music. Painting. Drawing. Film. Spoken and Written Word. Action. Protest.
Activism.
These are but many of the tools humans have been given to act in the
world around them.
We are not The Killer Next Door.
We are the spectators in the audience.
We can be the actors on stage as free and as real as we will let ourselves
be.
Through self-reflection and discussion with the other we can gain real
freedom,
not the kind you buy at Wal-Mart.
War is not Friendship. Peace does
not come through Militarism.
I would like to propose we strive for the common good
Peace and Love are not trite.
I am one of the founding members of The Killer Next Door.
We are a group of artists who were expelled from the bowels of the Oklahellmouth.
We pledged our friendship and made a pact to fight the demons masquerading
as the human elite.
I am a graduate of the University
of Oklahoma’s School of Art. I spent much time learning the rules,
Now I intend to grind them into a sticky paste.
Love is the glue that binds me to you.
In today’s consumer culture hope is a four-letter word. I would
like to offer you my art.
Although I wish to sell my art and music to you, do not confuse me with
the corporate whores.
Those who buy and sell souls laugh at our efforts to survive.
I love our world.
I love my country.
I love my state.
Everything I know I learned in this big rotating ball.
Our world, our words, our art.
